What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you register on our site or our app.
When registering on our site or app you may be asked to enter your:
- Profile photo
- A clear headshot of your face
- Passport photo including ID number
- Name

- Physical address
- Phone/Whatsapp number

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- To confirm your identity
- To process your travel application
- To grant you access to hosts on our network
- To enable us to communicate with you about PlanetZula and other opportunities that may interest you
- To improve our operations and make your experience more enjoyable
- To allow us to improve our tools, troubleshoot, and maintain our system
Once your identity has been verified, your passport photo will be automatically deleted from our system.
Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the service requested and as described in the “Do we disclose any information to outside parties?” section below.
The email address you provide may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to travel on our network, in addition to receiving occasional organizational news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

Do we use cookies?

Third-party sources which we may use to manage relationships with travellers:
- Bubble.io is the backend database system we use to process information that will show on the Planet Zula app. (Bubble’s Privacy Policy)
- SendGrid is an email service that allows us to communicate with you by email. (SendGrid’s Security Policy)
- Google provides secure storage for our documents. (Google’s Privacy Policy)
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act); we do not collect any information from anyone under 16 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 16 years old or older.
